How to Make the Perfect Recruiting Highlight Film

Coaches are less impressed with the end result of a play than the progression of the play. They want to see an athlete through an entire play; watching footwork, off-ball movement and everything else that goes into a team effort.

In today's world, just being a good player is not enough to find your way onto the college roster of your choice. Tournaments have become crowded, and many times the recruiting showcases have more distractions for scouts and coaches than actual gameplay.

Highlight films, whether professionally produced or basement-made, can be an effective tool to get a young athlete the exposure he or she needs to make it to the next level.
