Everyone is late sometimes, but if you’re always early, or always late, the coach will notice.

Starting off the season with new coaches can be a little nerve-wracking, but it’s a great chance to set the tone for what kind of player they think you’ll be.

All coaches are different in terms of what they look for in a player and how they want you to play on the field, but there are some things that most coaches notice and value.

Importance of a First Impression

When your coach forms an impression of you they create assumptions about you as a player. That can be good if you leave a positive impression, but it can be hard to dig out of a bad first impression.
