Your coach sees your effort in practice every day, sees how you react to game situations and is the best source for a college coach to gain insight on you as a player. You better earn that recommendation.

So, you want to play in college? Well, the fastest way to a college athletic scholarship is to be the biggest, strongest, fastest, most talented player in your city. 

If you can’t claim that, then you might have a little work to do. We talk about it all the time, but it is worth repeating, if you’re not a five-star athlete you really need to approach the college recruiting process like a job search.

You are looking to play in college, and college coaches are looking for players. Once you find a match, it’s just a matter of negotiating the details and deciding on the best situation for you.
