Northern Virginia is the suburban area outside Washington DC that includes Arlington, Clarke, Fairfax, Fauquier, Frederick, Loudoun, Prince William, Stafford, and Warren counties, as well as the independent cities of Alexandria, Falls Church, Fairfax, Fredericksburg, Manassas and Manassas Park.
The Northern Virginia (NoVA) Volleyball Alliance was founded in 2017 as an initiative of the Volleyball Council of the Fairfax County Athletic Council to address issues identified by its members. The Alliance was envisioned as a way to provide clear and relevant information in a fragmented and often confusing space. By connecting those interested in volleyball with those providing volleyball services, the Alliance hopes to support the continued growth of volleyball in the area.
This site is setup as a free and unbiased public service with no commercial ties. It is supported and maintained by individual Alliance partners on a voluntary basis.
Membership is open to any organization, group or facility in Northern Virginia that runs volleyball programs and is interested in reaching out to a larger audience. To join the NoVA Volleyball Alliance, click on the "Becoming A Partner" tab above.
In exchange for listing volleyball programs and posting news stories for free, Alliance Partners are asked to cross-promote the NoVA Volleyball Alliance by uploading the Alliance logo to the Partner's website and linking it to this website. The free and unbiased information on this site should help improve public awareness and grow the sport which in turn should benefit all Alliance Partners.
